Pinball Is On Crack
A CFL rookie with 29 games of NFL experience is going to be leading the Toronto Argonauts into battle on Saturday night. I love Pinball Clemons but this is too much. after pissing all over the legacy of Damon Allen, he's going into the deep end and hoping if everything goes to hell, a guy named Rocky is going to bail him out. I wish I could tell you that this was a televised rendition of Oliver Stone's Any Given Sunday, but I'd be cheating you. Nope, this my friends is the 2007 edition of the Toronto Argos. All the signs are suggesting to me that we shouldn't worry about Saturday night's game against the Stampeders but with a third/fourth string quarterback holding down the Argo front, I'm afraid. Really, really afraid.  I look at the stats the history that Mike McMahon bring to the table and as an Argos fan, I just want to hide under my coffee table. Five touchdowns in nine games in the CFL does not a hero make. The same could be said of someone like Andre Ware and look where he is now.

Really, it's time to bring back Damon. Yeah he 's old, and yes, at this stage, he's probobly well past it. but if anyone is going to lead the Argos through the minefield that is the increasingly competitive CFL East, it's going to be Damon as opposed to Mike. If Mike Clemons and the Argos management are blinded by the glare of McMahon's previous NFL experience, I have one game for you.

299 yards.

That's the most passing yardage that Mike McMahon has put up in a game. If that's all he can do, we should be afraid, very afraid.

The Argos are putting their hopes into the hands of a man who hasn't been able to deliver on three hundred yards passing in an NFL game and that is going to kill them.  There is very little in the man's NFL history that will suggest that he will be able to take the Argos over a very angry Stamps on Saturday. Calgary got beaten up and will be coming for blood against the Argos in this second half of this home and home series. If we're lucky, he'll be able to deliver to Mookie Mitchell and Arland Bruce. Hell, Bruce has three touchdowns and he'll be able to get us more, we just need a man who can deliver the ball to him.

What his name is? Well shoot! That's for Argos management to know and for us to find out during the coin flip.

Who do you think should be the Argo QB? Let us known at the Argos Fanz Forum!
