Mistakes at key moments (bad luck) 2007/08/11 07:26 Karma: 0
The Argos definitely played well enough to win tonight and probably should have but for that easy INT dropped by Steinauer in the first half and that other potential INT in the 4th quarter that went through the hands of our DBs into Flick's hands for the easy touchdown. Result: A minimum differencial of 14 points.

And that's without mentioning Levinston's fumble leading to the easy Rider touchdown!

Besides those two game changing plays, the team played pretty well and I thought we could win. Once Bishop comes back and we straighten out the mistakes we will contend for the Grey Cup.

People would be foolish to give up hope on this team!!

HAPPILY lived Mankind in the peaceful Valley of Ignorance.

To the north, to the south, to the west and to the east stretched the ridges of the Hills Everlasting.

A little stream of Knowledge trickled slowly through a deep worn gully.

It came out of the Mountains of the Past.

It lost itself in the Mashes of the Future.

It was not much, as rivers go. But it was enough for the humble needs of the villagers.

In the evening, when they had watered their cattle and had filled their casks, they were content to sit down to enjoy life.wow gold,

The Old Men Who Knew were brought forth from the shady corners where they had spent their day, pondering over the mysterious pages of an old book.

They mumbled strange words to their grandchildren, who would have preferred to play with the pretty pebbles, brought down from distant lands.

Often these words were not very clear.

But they were written a thousand years ago by a forgotten race. Hence they were holy.

For in the Valley of Ignorance, whatever was old was venerable. And, those who dared to gainsay the wisdom of the fathers, were shunned by all decent people.

And so they kept their peace.

Fear was ever with them. What if they should be refused the common share of the products of the garden?

Vague stories there were, whispered at night among the narrow streets of the little town, vague stories of men and women who had dared to ask questions.

They had gone forth, and never again had they been seen.

A few had tried to scale the high walls of the rocky range that hid the sun.

Their whitened bones lay at the foot of the cliffs.

The years came and the years went by.

Happily lived Mankind in the peaceful Valley of Ignorance.

Out of the darkness crept a man.wow gold,

The nails of his hands were torn.

His feet were covered with rags, red with the blood of long marches.

He stumbled to the door of the nearest hut and knocked.

Then he fainted. By the light of a frightened candle, he was carried to a cot.

In the morning throughout the village it was known: "He has come back."

The neighbors stood around and shook their heads. They had always known that this was to be the end.

Defeat and surrender awaited those who dared to stroll away from the foot of the mountains.

And in one corner of the village the Old Men shook their heads and whispered burning words.

They did not mean to be cruel, but the Law was the Law. Bitterly this man had sinned against the wishes of Those Who Knew.

As soon as his wounds were healed he must be brought to trial.

They meant to be lenient.

They remembered the strange, burning eyes of his mother. They recalled the tragedy of his father, lost in the desert these thirty years ago.

The Law, however, was the Law; and the Law must be obeyed.

The Men Who Knew would see to that.

They carried the wanderer to the Market Place, and the people stood around in respectful silence.

He was still weak from hunger and thirst and the Elders bade him sit down.

As it was in the beginningas it is nowand as some day(so we hope)it shall no longer be。

Frank's voice dropped a bit. "When the weather was bad he would drive me to school. He had this old

truck that he used in his fishing business. That truck was older than he was. It would wheeze and

rattle down the road. You could hear it coming f blocks. As he would drive toward the school,I would

shrink down into the seat hoping to disappear. Half the time, he would slam to a stop and the old

truck would belch a cloud of smoke. He would pull right up in front, and it seemed like everybody

would be standing around and watching.archld gold, Then

he would lean over and give me a big kiss on the cheek and tell me to be a good boy. It was so

embarrassing f me. Here, I was 12 years old, and my Dad would lean over and kiss me goodbye!" He

paused and then went on, "I remember the day I decided I was too old f a goodbye kiss. When we got to

the school and came to a stop, he had his usual big smile. He started to lean toward me, but I put my

hand up and said, 'No, Dad.'

It was the first time I had ever talked to him that way, and he had this surprised look on his

face.

I said, 'Dad, I'm too old f a goodbye kiss. I'm too old f any kind of kiss.' .
buy archld gold,
My Dad looked at me f the longest time, and his eyes started to tear up. I had never seen him cry.

He turned and looked out the windshield. 'You're right,' he said. 'You are a big boy....a man. I won't

kiss you anyme.'" Frank got a funny look on his face, and the tears began to well up in his eyes, as

he spoke. "It wasn't long after that when my Dad went to sea and never came back. It was a day when

most of the fleet stayed in, but not Dad. He had a big family to feed. They found his boat adrift with

its nets half in and half out. He must have gotten into a gale and was trying to save the nets and the

floats."
I looked at Frank and saw that tears were running down his cheeks. Frank spoke again. "Guys, you don't

know what I would give to have my Dad give me just one me kiss on the cheek....to feel his rough old

face....to smell the ocean on him....to feel his arm around my neck.
archld money, I wish I had been a man then. If I had

been a man, I would never have told my Dad I was too old f a goodbye kiss."
Thus we see the contract in a legal civic marriage in China is not between the woman and the man. The

contract is between the womanand the family of her husband. She is not married to him, but into his

family. In the visiting card of a Chinese lady in China, she does not write, f instance, Mrs. Ku Hung

-ming, but literally "Miss Feng, gone to the home of the family (iginally from) Tsin An adjusts her

dress." The contract of marriage in China being between the woman and the family of her husband, the

husband and wife can neither of them repudiate the contract without the consent of the husband's

family. This I want to point out here, is the fundamental difference between a marriage in China and a

marriage in Europe and America. .
archld power leveling,
The marriage in Europe and America, is what we Chinese would call a sweet-heart marriage, a

marriage, bound solely by love between the individual man and the individual woman. But in China the

marriage is, as I have said, a civic marriage, a contract not between the woman and the man, but

between the woman and the family of her husband, in which she has obligations not only to him,

aoc power leveling,
but also to his family, and through the family, to society, to the social civic der; in fact, to the

State. Finally let me point out here that it is this civic conception of marriage which gives

solidarity and stability to the family, to the social civic der, to the State in China.

Imagine Life

Imagine life as a game in which you are juggling some five balls in the air. You name them: Work, Family, Health, Friends, Spirit. And you re keeping all of these in the air. You will soon understand that work is a rubber ball. If you drop it, it will bounce back. But the other four balls-family, health, friends and spirit are made of glass. If you drop one of these, they will be irrevocably scuffed , marked, nicked , damaged or even shattered . They will never be the same. You must understand that and strive for balance in your life.
last chaos gold,
  How?

Don t undermine your worth by comparing yourself with others. It is because we are different that each of us is special.

Don t set your goals by what other people deem important. Only you know what is best for you.

Don t take for granted the things closest to your heart. Cling to them as you would cling to your life, for without them, life is meaningless.
buy last chaos gold,

Don t let your life slip through your fingers by living in the past or for the future. By living your life one day at a time, you live ALL the days of your life.

Don t give up when you still have something to give. Nothing is really over until the moment you stop trying.

Don t be afraid to admit that you are less than perfect. It is this fragile thread that binds us each together.
last chaos money,
Don t be afraid to encounter risks. It is by taking chances that we learn how to be brave.

Don t shut love out of your life by saying it s impossible to find. The quickest way to receive love is to give; the fastest way to lose love is to hold it too tightly; and the best way to keep love is to give it wings.
last chaos money,
Don t run through life so fast that you forget not only where you ve been, but also where you are going.

To read extensively or to read intensively

Bathed in so many worthy books, every one is faced with the option of reading method. Some think that we should read extensively. It is their conviction that, reading extensively could easily enlarge knowledge, widen interests and enrich lives.
last chaos gold,
On the other hand, with the sharp increase in information today, we are not allowed to read word by word. It seems an impossible mission to accomplish digesting carefully every material. Therefore, what we need nowadays is to read extensively.

BEIJING: The worlds centre of gravity has moved to Beijing, Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez told his Chinese counterpart on Wednesday during a visit focused on boosting Chinese oil purchases.
wow power leveling,
No one can be ignorant that the centre of gravity of the world has moved to Beijing, Mr. Chavez told Chinas President Hu Jintao.
During the financial crisis, Chinas actions have been highly positive for the world. Currently, China is the biggest motor driving the world amidst this crisis of international capitalism, said Mr. Chavez in preliminary remarks before reporters were ushered from the meeting room at Beijings Great Hall of the People.
requiem lant,
Earlier, Mr. Chavez said he planned to review with Chinese leaders a goal of boosting exports of Venezuelan oil to China from 3,80,000 barrels last year to 1 million barrels by 2013 part of Venezuelas strategy of diversifying oil sales away from the United States, which buys about half the South American nations heavy crude despite political tensions.
daoc plat,
Included in that strategy are plans for China and Venezuela to build four oil tankers and three refineries in China capable of processing Venezuelas crude.

China and Venezuela have also invested in a $12-billion fund to finance joint development projects in areas including oil production, infrastructure and agriculture.
lastchaos gold,
Mr. Chavez has made Beijing a frequent stop in his global travels to promote his agenda of anti-American world unity, stopping in the Chinese capital six times since taking power in 1998 elections.
His visit follows a sweep through West Asia last week, including a stop in Iran where he said he has little hope of better relations with Washington under President Barack Obama because the United States was still acting like an empire in his eyes. last chaos money,
cabal alz,
Following his arrival in Beijing on Tuesday night, Mr. Chavez said his two-day visit to Beijing this week is part of the creation of a new world order.

We are creating a new world, a balanced world. A new world order, a multipolar world, said Mr. Chavez. The unipolar world has collapsed. The power of the U.S. empire has collapsed, he said.
rf gold,
Everyday, the new poles of world power are becoming stronger. Beijing, Tokyo, Tehran ... its moving toward the East and toward the South.

China, with its $2 trillion in foreign reserves, has responded to the global crisis with a 4 trillion yuan ($586 billion) plan to pump money into the economy through higher public works spending in hopes of boosting domestic consumption. AP Warhammer Gold,

I'm the Only One

She was my sister and she was sleeping late. She's a lot older than me and at the time she was about to break into films, directing them, so everybody was indulging her. She was the only girl, too. If something didn't wk out in her life and she had to come home f a while, it was a big deal. It mattered me than if I fucked up in one way another. When Kelly was at home you had to creep around the house and keep your voice down even if it was in the middle of the afternoon. Our mother's Canadian - I don't know why I say that, except maybe it helps explain her opinion about Kel: Smarts Needs Special. It was this crappy little phrase that she had made up and it meant that clever people.wow power leveling, People with special talents, need special treatment. Like they have a disease. You have to meet the Canadian side of our family to understand how cute she thinks that phrase is. I remember thinking that it was bullshit when I was fourteen and it still smells bad now. But to my mother, Kelly was this asteroid that had landed in our lives and no one knew how she got there what size hole she was going to leave. I've never been very good at school, and Pete, our older brother, is the same. Then along comes Kelly. So my mother has us all pussy-footing around like a family mime troupe, waving our hands, taking our shoes off.replica rolex,

I'm thinking of a particular mning, I was creeping around trying to make a silent breakfast, opening cupboards quietly, acting like I didn't exist. I'd been doing it f a couple of weeks since Kelly got back. It felt like I'd been doing it my whole life. The situation came about because earlier in the year Kelly had moved in with this guy called Aidan. They bought furniture, the whole wks. Then she cheated on him and he left her. Apart from Kelly being back in our house, it was also a shame because Aidan was the only man she ever went out with, befe since, whom I've had any time f whatsoever. Aidan was a top, replica rolex, man, a good guy. The thing I like about him was that he was smart, but he didn't need much of this special treatment. He was Irish, from Dublin, and he could be funny, he could talk football and he liked to see other people's mouths open and close besides his own. It was good knowing someone like him. I needed it; what with dad not being around, Pete married and gone; and me in a house full of women. That was the year I was praying f a few me inches on my height and shaving the bare space under my nose hoping that something might turn up. So it was good to know Aidan, six foot three and hairy as a bear. He was hairy back and front and Kelly would tease him about it, and he would laugh her off tell her she could do with losing a few pounds which, between you and me, was nothing but the truth. She was a fat little thing back then. And he went and told her, straight-up; didn't care that she was almost, st of, famous. He told it how it was. That was the way he loved her. She never appreciated it, replica rolex, though, and then she had this fling with some pretty boy in the film industry. But you could see she realised what she'd lost when he left her because she slunk back home and holed herself up in Pete's old room that I'd been using f weights. She took it over and lay in there all day in the dark curled up in a stinking duvet watching old black-and-white films. I remember asking her, 'Why can't you use your own bedroom?' She had a small bedroom upstairs that used to be covered wall to wall in her school friends' graffiti until she went off to university and mum whitewashed the whole thing. I asked her again, 'Why can't you use your own bedroom, that's what it's there f.' She said, 'I can't sleep and wk in the same room. I need a study.' She said it as if a study is one of those things you can't do without, like clean water. I said, 'But I need to exercise.' She said, 'You're fourteen. Your body isn't even developed. The only thing you need to do is stop beating the bishop befe you go blind.' This was classic Kelly. She always knew how to make you feel four inches long in every direction.
replica rolex,
So she came back, and I had to move out all my weights and spread them around the house wherever there was space. I put the bench press in my room along with the free weights. I put the Abdominizer in the lounge. I stuck the chin-up bar at the top of the stairs which lead down to the front do. And even though I was pissed off with Kelly f taking the spare room, having the weights all over the place did make it me like circuit training and doing circuits made me feel like I was Rocky. It's what they do in the middle of Rocky movies; a two-minute sequence to show that over a number of months he got fit and pumped up. You pray f that kind of speedy, magic-time when you're wking out, the same way you wish your adolescence would pass like it does in a TV serial: a school scene, a sex scene and graduation. It's slower and faster than that. And some events become still and solid, and turn into a thing in your life, an object like a lampshade an ironing board. They hang around; you could reach out and touch them. This day I'm trying to tell you about is like that.
So: my exercise. I'd start in my room, and do about four sets of twenty. Then I'd run downstairs and start on the Abdominizer. If you've never seen one, they're like half of something fun, half a bike
replica rolex, half a swing. You lie down in them and you do sit-ups. You spend good money trying to make sit-ups something else. In the end, a sit-up is a sit-up. But I'm a big a mug as anyone and I'd try and do two hundred sit-ups in that thing in sets of fifty. The pain was very bad. So I'd think of something that pissed me off, usually Kelly, and the anger would help me push out the last fifty. I wanted to show her that I could develop if I wanted to. Because there was always this thing between her and me that we were both kind of overweight, and always telling the other one that they were obsessed with it.So if Kelly didn't eat lunch,
I'm the Only One
